Never Give Up

works better if you listen to this entry while it loops (click thumbnail to play in-page):

This is my most elaborate piece to date. This one is personally special to me, I've been working on it since early 2019. I am happy to call it 'Never give up' because this gif came about in a particularly turbulent period in my professional and personal life. I gave up working on it many times and it sat for months at times while I pieced my life back together.

In the end, through struggle and persistence the clouds do break and perseverance does reap benefits.

I don't have as much process gifs as I usually do but see below for the preliminary pass through:

I. Initial rough:

I work very fast in this phase, usually in one sitting.

I feel motivated during this phase, and I need to take advantage of it by working quickly.

In this initial one, you can see the end looks very different than the final product. The breaking routine ends successfully.

Near the end of the year after a monstrous year, I was intrigued by the concept of him fucking up, I felt that it gave it more personality and it just felt like a better reason to have it loop, so I rigged it to loop after he breaks form.
