Edit: Frontpaged? Holy fucking shit. How did that even happen? As someone who has been coming to this site for six years, this is seriously just like wow.
This was drawn to be a Facebook profile picture but I figured I would submit it here, too.
Yes, the fact that the background is a photograph is intentional, not laziness. I actually intended it to be just the drawing of me and the photograph without all that stupid fractal shit, and honestly, I think it looks better without it. The problem was that since I referenced the base picture instead of tracing it, the drawing of me didn't overlap right, and the photograph of me that I referenced was noticeably showing.
Also the boobs are lopsided. Oops.
Also also, constructive criticism is welcome. Except don't bother mentioning the stupid fractal shit because I know that's bad already.
Beautifully done, I must admit. My favorite aspect of this piece is the golden color that the girl takes on, making her stand out from the background. Every part of this has a keen attention to detail put into it as well. I also enjoy the glow coming from her foot as well.
I love the way the drawing pushes an impression on the rest of the image as well, really makes it look rather surreal and wonderful. I love this picture, and you are a damn good artist (way better than me, at least). Keep up the good work. Favorited and 5'd.

That's a great combination of a photo and painting. It's not too clearly visible, that your breasts are lopsided, maybe the point of view is to blame. ;-)

Great work, amazing shading (?) on the t-shirt, it looks so bad ass. In fact, great shading on the jeans too, nice creases and folds ect. I feel they add a strong sense of realism to the piece.
