I'll admit, the colorful fog is a bit ambiguous, but I'm still found of this piece, even if the Spirit Creature designs have changed quite a bit since then- and will be refined further for the redone pages and future chapters.

In other news, here's the first of many concept pieces from my comic, Dreamtamers.

More will come in the near future- both older works like this and updated designs as they are completed.

On the species:

Nekow

(Nay-co)(Plural: Nekow)

Metamorphosed from: Nekeel 

Metamorphoses into: Nekoi

Element: Water 

A cat like species.

Uses its ribbon tendrils to manipulate objects.

Can survive in and out of water, as well as manipulate it.

Uses a smaller set of tendrils to hold a bell in the middle of its bow; this bell is used as a focus for its powers.

Stacholf

(Sta-cholf)(Plural: Stacholves)

Metamorphoses into: ???

Element: Alpha

A wolf-like spirit creature composed of thorns.

Uses its vine-like tail to defend itself and to perform some basic tasks.

Can control the plants around it to a degree.

Hunni-bun

(Honey-bun)(Plural: Hunni-buns)

Element: Fire

A rabbit-shaped spirit creature.

Looks like and smells of baked goods, but not actually made of them.

Can breathe fire.

Has a long, flexible tail.

Out-of-story information:

-Nekow is a combination of the words "Neko" (meaning cat) and bow. Stacholf is a combination of "stachel" (a German word meaning thorn), and hunni-bun is a pun on "honey bun", plus some unusual spelling

-The initial inspiration for hunni-bun's design is a cinnamon roll.

-Stacholf, Hunni-bun and Nekow are the first three spirit creature designs, the first being nekow, and then the rest in reverse order.

-This piece is the first appearance of Felix.
