Doroma was humanoid type Haniwa Phantom and monster of the week on Ep.8 of the Kotetsu Jeeg anime. A phantom with Four arms, each held a unique weapon, with the upper right arm been normal with hand holding a battle axe, the other three held a Spike ball with chain, a tentacle whip and a shield, and like many Phantoms, could dig through the ground. It was had various tones of Brown (from brown, reddish and standard), with a purple head adorn with 2 red horns and light green eyes, painted with bright purple lines under them. He had a yellow color head ornament in the abdomen.

After been roasted by Hiroshi on television, Don challenges him to a duel, which the former accepts: the duel of course goes bad for Don, been beaten by Hiroshi. Tired of losing to him, Don rams through a fire lite Motorcycle obstacle, causing it to collapse and Hiroshi losing his balance, he falls and smacks his head onto rock, in Panic Don runs away. This was witness by Himika's General, Mimashi, who uses the opportunity to kill Hiroshi and retreats to unleash his new Phantom. When Hiroshi comes to his senses, he receive a call from Michi of the latest Phantom attack in the city and Hiroshi rendezvous with her.

Once there, Hiroshi begins to suffered from a blurry sight and headaches, yet he is capable to Build Up Jeeg. Still the problem not only persists, but worsens, having lost his eyesight. Doroma thrashes Jeeg, but before he could kill him Jeeg is able to blast his leg off with Spinstorm, Jeeg tries to finish the monster off, but the effects his head wound makes him lose conscious, allowing Doroma and Mimashi to retreat.

After been taken to the Build Base's Medical bay, it is discovered his optic nerve has been damaged with no way to know when it will be heal. As Hiroshi comes with grips to his dark reality, Pancho informs a concern Don of his state and remorsefully blames himself for his condition. Not long after, a repair Doroma reappears on the city to attack, Michi ask the professor to not inform Hiroshi and takes off on the Big Shooter to fight it.

The Shooter makes a stand, but fails to repeal the Phantom, almost been shutdown at one point. As Michi recovers control for another attack, Don and Pancho arrive on the MechaDon, and of course, it proves to be easy for Doroma to push around. Still, the MechaDon team persist in standing up, and continue to fight the monster, largely pushed by Don's regret. After been pushed over by the Phantom, Don decides to make a suicide attack, but Pancho fails to guide him out panic, causes to miss his target and the MechaDon crashes onto a wall, exploding to pieces.

At the Build Base, Chibi comes in and informs Hiroshi of Don, he leaves the Base to save him under a stormy cloud, but he stumbles. He asks from help and answers to his father when he is struck by lightning, tossing him, but the end result, Hiroshi recovers his sight. Hiroshi vows to save Don.

Side Note: I'm not kidding, he is struck by lightning and as he stands up and ray of light breaks through the clouds and over him. His eyes turn from red to normal, and his covered by this aura of light over him. So literally, he was heal by the Power of God. This literally took the term Deus Ex Machina to heart as a plot resolution in a show about a guy who is a Cyborg that can transform into a Giant Robot.

At the city, even with the MechaDon destroy, Don persist to destroy the Phantom with his bare hands (Bare hands as in holding a stack of Dynamite). Doroma whip slaps him, tossing the Dynamite away and attempts to crush Don, when Hiroshi arrives and distracts the Phantom, saving Don in the moment. Hiroshi and Michi Build up Jeeg, and he is now capable to out beat the Phantom, blasting it arms off with Knuckle Bomber and Dynamite Punch. Having disarmed him, Jeeg uses the Bazooka to dispose of the Monster.

After the battle, Don tries to apologies to Hiroshi, but Hiroshi shows his acceptance by tossing him into a bush, thus reigniting their rivalry, and the two take off on their Motorcycles into another challenge.
