Dinosaur Great War IzenborgNo12 - Murara vs Gororo

Share

Murara the Triceratops and Gororo the Pachycephalosaurus were two DinoKaiju who appear in the Dinosaur Great War Izenborg Ep.12 - "It is Raw! Deadly! Life to bet on a Torrent" - as the show's 20th and 21th Monsters in the order of appearance.

_Bio and Abilities_

Murara the Triceratops didn't have much abilities, besides burrowing and stomping with its feet whatever was in its path; like any other Triceratops, would use its horns as weapons. Murara was the 2nd Dinosaur to defect after Unko, albeit suddenly, when it developed remorse for its actions after hearing the cries of an infant and ran from the battlefield and refuse to obey Ururu there after – this seal its fate.

Gororo was a Pachycephalosaurus, and principle enemy of the episode, who appears out of nowhere, sent out by Ururu to kill Murara when it abandoned its mission and refuse to obey the Tyrant King's commands. The DinoKaiju was a far able fighter, it could breath fire and a yellow smoke from the mouth, as well burrowing; it also possess a thicker bone skull, which provided for devastating headbutts to its opponents. Its Bio erroneously identifies him a Troodon, a different type of Dinosaur.

_Story_

Quick Note: the subplot of the Episode has a cop hunting a fugitive through the woods, while Murara attacks; while much of it is not "technically relevant", its important to note the Officer is the father of the Baby Murara refuses to kill, and makes him rethink its ways. So with that part out, lets dive right in.

Murara appears on the countryside and heads towards a local village, crushing a Wood-chopper on its march, while a 2nd escapes to the village's Police Outpost and calls the D-Squad, who flies to face the Triceratops.

As the Monster attacks the village, the wife of the Officer (who is hunting a fugitive in the woods through much of the episode) tries to escape with her infant child, but both fall into a hole; brazing for their fate, Murara stops its assault when hearing the cries of the Baby and feeling remorse for the innocent life, its eyes change from hate fill red to soothing, then runs to the woods whimpering, with the surprise heroes following it on the IzenTank – an irate Ururu then calls for Gororo the Pachycephalosaurus to punish Murara.

Murara and Gororo fight, but the latter proves far more stronger than the Triceratops; tosses it aside and then dives its jaw and teeth into the Triceratops chest, killing it instantly (it stated to be the neck, but, it was quite clear in was the chest/stomach area). With its task done, Gororo then Challenges D-Squad; the Izen Units go to battle to end the Beast, using Freeze Missile, but these had temporary effect; IzenTwo then uses a drop bomb that calls the attention of Gororo and the DinoKaiju follows the Izen Units away from the village.

Meanwhile, the Officer's chase for the fugitive reaches the Bridge, where he fights with the Fugitive when Gororo shows up and destroys the Bridge, both men holding to life, the Cop saving the Fugitive's life. As IzenOne takes the Beast attention, IzenTwo saves the stranded men; the Fugitive is later thanking the Officer for saving his life and surrenders peacefully to him.

After Ippei and Barra checked of Ai and Zen's condition, the siblings IzenCross, and the Izenborg Super Tank takes off to finish Gororo; It's thick hide was immune to its cutting and laser weaponry, forcing them to use their IzenFire (or IzenFlash, difficult to get it) and rip through Gororo, making it explode; Ururu vows revenge on his enemies.

After the battle, and having been thanked by the Officer, his wife and child, D-Squad returns to base.
