Chatitos

Share Fullscreen

Some weeks ago, I was talking to my chat about the fact that some streamers have a nickname for the followers. ElRubius has "criaturitas del señor" or like if a vtuber has a bakery theme, they would call their followers cupcakes and stuff like that.

I was telling them that "chalequines" or "chalequito", a diminutive of chaleco ( Chalecus comes from chaleco [sweater in spanish] ), was already being used but as a diminutive of my name and with "Team Chalequines" because my friends named themselves that way when they are supporting me on streams or irl. So naming chat that way would feel weird.

And I made a robot character named Chato, that, in lore, is the voice of chat, but it's its own character.

So, chat proposed that they could be named "Chatitos" as a diminutive of Chato. And there was some debate, because they said that they could be a mini version of Chato, but to me, Chatitos sounds like a snack hahaha

SO I MADE BOTH OF THEM!

Hope you like them 🤍

Dang, this is some top-tier low-poly and texturing 3D work! Looks like something out of a colorful Nintendo DS game!

¿Y acaso habla como CAntinflas?

Chalecus responds:

Curiosamente, aquí en Chile "Chato" se relaciona con estar fastidiado pero también se utiliza como en México.

Un triple combo linguista sería decir "El Chato está chato de ser chato" jajajaja 😂

I like this critter.

I can just imagine them stealing that bag of snacks from you in the middle of the stream as an interaction during the streams.
