This is an incredibly creative character quirk. Love the design as well! Something about villains who don't reveal their face often really stick out in the best way.

A design I've been messing around with for the Grim Reaper within my story, Element's, universe. It's taken many forms for many different worlds, but here's how most of the inhabitants of Crux have interpreted death. Don't worry, however! He won't be making his appearance in my tales just yet...
