Depending on the color of that white bit inside the hood, it could either be a goofy grin or a shadowed mask. Additionally, the posture of the character can also tell you what kind of person they are. If he was hunched over more, he would look like a sneaky guy ready for action. The pose you have right now fits a young and excitable lad, but the pose seems a little off balance. I think it's either the postion of the head, or the hood's perspective being a little off.

Sooooooo a possible character design

So I'm wanting to make an rpg maker game just for the hell of it but I suck at making kinda human characters and I need to know if this guy would fit the role of a hunter's son or if he just looks like a kid wearing a table cloth pretending to be a ninja. Any comment would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for the comment! I'm not really good at posing and I tried to fix the balance issue but I couldn't without starting again so I kept it. I'm also glad that some of the posing worked since that is what he's supposed to be. I'm going to try and get better at posing and try and stop the leaning so hopefully I can draw him a bit better in the future. Thanks again for highlighting some of the things I need to work on so I can improve on them!
