I loved those lyrics how the song illustrates the woman that sells her body is no different than the stick up man who is no different from the preacher. All of them are looking for a ways to get paid.
I read the paper and hear about the evangelists that are running at a Net worth of such and such. Then I read about the stripper, the pin up girl, the call girl and I remember movies like Risky Business that made the coming of age tale in America bigger than Kevin Spacey movies; all seeking to sell the idea of sex and the net worth that is associated with it.
What I never hear is the net worth of the stick-up man but then I suppose I am supposed to compare what rappers are quoted in making and then I have a ball park figure.
If I was to believe those lies I would be no different from those that invest time in watching the lives of the rich and famous on VH1.
Talking about the glamour and the flash that seems to end with the same line.
