Lock me away for crimes that pay is what I always say. White collar crimes in which the people that I love never worry a day for the time that elapses in my passing.
There is no delusion of grandeur, just a realization that if I must rot away let it be said, "he got paid."
Does this mean white collar crimes bring wealth?
No, it means the scheme that takes years of investigations to solve leave so much room for doubt, allowing that there is enough money to keep everyone fed.
Your name becomes infamous, that means nearly famous; when they realize why you did it, they don't call you a loser, they call you a dreamer, an inventor of wealth.
Half the time they are just disturbed that they did not try it first.
I was a professional, always looking for the pay-day never settled for jobs that would entail I needed a gun. If we could not come to a reasonable arrangement for the transfer of funds, then there is no need to continue a conversation.
All of my friends where wealthier than I, I was always the valet, the chauffer, the body guard, the bartender, the club promoter, the artist and dreamer.
Why don't you have a wife, you ask?
Well do you see the woman in the bar, it would just so happen she is "The American," woman, who will not settle for the comforts of a hard-working man, unless you are willing to commit that white collar crime. To her, "If you not willing to pull the trigger and earn the score, then wealth will allude and you are destined to remain poor."
She would settle for nothing less, she drinks her life away in protest, with how she must stomach the, "old wealth," that cares for her. She settled in life for a shameful lover and I've as of yet pulled the trigger on the right score.
I am the artist without a gallery so no woman will settle for me.
Finding a woman to settle, is your only dilemma?
No, I am a complex man and have made Life my strife.
