Reviews for "Anti-War Liberals"

Although I disagree with the message

The flash was tasteful. And had no cursing or anything to make you seem unintelligent but remember that it was the other soilder who went aganst us to destroy our freedom. And remember in the 1960's when the national gaurds killed innocent un armed demonstrators it was the soilders at kent state university. It was the soilder that killed the branch dividians children in waco texas that caused the death of innocent children and the rage and anger of timothy mcveigh. It was the soilder that countless sorties missions over iraq during the peace time that got the terrorist groups angry at us more. It is the soilder that killed the innocents in errant bombs that was unneeded. And it is the soilder that lost the power of saddam and now what have the soilder done. They might set up something worst than saddam a shitte fundlementalist government like iran that would make saddams regime look like a nice guy. I know it was the soilder that gave us the right to free speech but how far does that right extend we are not entirely free. Ask Geraldo Rivera It was the soilder that took him out. Ask Peter Arnett. Ask the anti war protestors that are being ridiculed now that the war is almost over. But I feat that we might have put the shittes in power and that is something i can not stand to see. If you ever see what a shitte government does you would think saddam is an angel. Stonings are commond and qasis (slitting of human troats) are made public...And the women are treated terribly. The women of iraq had rights had jobs even had military jobs one of them is on those cards. And It is the soilder that have died in this unneeded war in which we still have yet to find iraqis weapons of mass destruction. Sorry if i went to long but you wanted my thoughts here it is ill look foward to a response or hate mail or whatever

CRAZY-MEXICAN0 responds:

Just to let you know I respond to almost all my comments. Yea the human is not perfect but the ideal soldier is something to be appreciated. You can point out all the human flaws that lie with in the army and we’ll be here all day. The fact remains that me, you, and everyone in America does owe their freedom to soldiers. Pointing out the relatively minor problems with our Army with respect to its overwhelming successes doesn’t make much of an argument. We have a duty to protect our selves and to a certain extent impose the will of the UN. As for the future government in Iraq your judgments thus far are pure speculation, no one knows the political climate of any future democracy in Iraq. Most likely you will have it like we do here, those that will favor the US and those who will hate the US. As for your complaints of free speech, everything has its limits. I can not run in an airport and shout bomb because it endangers lives and unnecessarily disturbs the peace. As the same is for Peter Arnett and the others. One reporter was quoted as saying that the US plan of attack is failing. With that media going to the Iraqis they will get hope and fight longer instead of surrendering and more Americans and Iraqis will die. First rule of life my friend everything has unanticipated consequences, free speech is no exception.

a very lofty message...

I hope that all you anti-war bastards see this while you go to your little peace rallies denounsing bush and and of of his so called "evils" just remember that it is the men & women out there on the front lines fighting for your sorry ass. If your too damn good for America id GLADLY buy you a one-way ticket to the middle east were you would be TOURTURED and KILLED for protesting as you do here!
DAMN YOUR NACHOOOOOS!!!

CRAZY-MEXICAN0 responds:

Thanks for your comment, I must say that being Mexican kinda makes me not opposed to nachos but thats just me :-D

Well, I guess.

Your movie was good enough, I suppose. However, the people reviewing it have attempted to pretend to have all the answers while simultaneously boosting their feeling of importance by using big words they heard on TV or from their liberal e-mail newsletters.

Without our military, their freedom would be nonexistant. And if they insist that our military is somehow pushing our morality down the collective throat of the rest of the world, they're probably already indoctrinated too much to be capable of rehabilitation. It's sad that they see enforcing the will of the UN and freeing a nation is somehow an imposition of our "morals." Sheer idiocy. But at least people like them aren't in power. Not in this country anyway.

And by the way, grow some balls and stand up to the people challenging you. You're an American, after all.

CRAZY-MEXICAN0 responds:

All great points a true intellectual of the right. Liberal media and college professors poison the minds of the today’s hate America left. I just hope that last statement wasn't directed towards me, I mean I did make this movie after all.

Good Presentation

That was a well presented movie, viewing your thoughts. It was concise and got the point across, though I don't fully agree that it's the soldier who is responsible for everything. Many have died in other countries for merely taking a stand against their government. They didn't take up arms, but stood in defiance. A government cannot run without people, so change can be brought around through peaceful means. The soldier is merely a more brutal and quicker way to achieve means. But I do agree with what you say about the brave. That was a very good movie.

CRAZY-MEXICAN0 responds:

Well your right I mean people do not have to be soldiers in order to make the ultimate sacrifice. However merely standing in defiance while a tank runs you over (i.e. Tia an Mien square china…I think that’s how it’s spelled) won’t get you very far. Don’t get me wrong those who stand in defiance deserve respect it’s just that like you said, the Soldier is the quicker means. As for another comment you made, a government can function with out the will of the people. I mean who wants to live in Cuba or North Korea or many of the war torn countries in Africa. Your logic is somewhat flawed, but I appreciate you input none the less.

Wow, what a movie

It is also the people in charge who, mindful of this country's founding principles, send these soldiers to do the things they do. What are the soldiers then fighting for? They don't fight for universal health coverage, they don't fight for more and more public assistance programs, they fight for the spirit of the Constitution was written in and that document that gives INDIVIDUALS liberty and limits the power of GOVERNMENT OVER INDIVIDUALS called the Bill of Rights. There are too many people now who would rather scew the meaning of the Bill of Rights to fit their political agendas rather than consider what those great men, the Founding Fathers, had in mind. Do enough reading of their writings and you will know exactly what the Founding Fathers were talking about when they wrote the Bill of Rights. A lot of people would rather not do their homework in that area I think.
Thanks for the movie.

CRAZY-MEXICAN0 responds:

I just wanted to take this chance to thank you and everyone else who responded for their great imput. UND brings up a good point in that things like universal health coverage and public programs may seem like a good idea but its not the job of the military or even the government in my opinion to baby its citizens with programs like welfare, and Universal Health care which is a huge disaster. Socialized medical systems provide for everyone yes, but with inadequate supplies. If you've ever taken and economics class you know what the demand curve for a free good is. Profit is incentive, with out profit incentive the medical profession just like any other buisness fails to make the huge inovations that we enjoy today. In short it would be nice if everyone everywhere could get the best treatment. But whos is going to foot the bill?
