I agree the controls would benefit from an extended tutorial, you would have hated with a passion the earlier iterations of the tutorial to use them.
It's why I made the initial area particularly easy and with the same few enemies, even giving the player extra time to press the prompts so they get used to them.

I really liked the aesthetics of the game but at some moments it felt confusing and even incomplete. I hope to see it again very soon because you can feel the love they gave it and, above all, their effort.

There are clearly some good ideas going on here and I like the aesthetic, but the lack of direction or feedback from gameplay make this project feel unfinished. I could definitely see this becoming something great, though - the moment with the deer turning into a tough corrupted monster was awesome and I'd like to see more like that.
It definitely has a lot of room for improvement! Parts of this project were written back when I couldn't code or design my way out of a wet paper bag. I have learned a lot! But two years on a zero budget project is insane enough.
