Reviews for "Specter Knight"

I see the gameplay lacking for melee build?
Basically if you are not a mage type you not going to go far.
It would been nicer to include more skills to make people that prefer to use swords actually choose melee path and benefit from that path.

The best way to go is to only level magic and forget equipment.
Earth magic is very powerful and can hit anyone in the same map even if they are out of view.

In the end my magic spells were so powerful that I was able to 1 shot the last boss...
The best skill to level are all the basic 3 spells then max money & experience upgrade.
Then armor.
No need to bother upgrading shield, shield skills, sword or the melee skill they are useless.
I also found to level the second type of spell useless except the earth one which was very useful.
It would been better if monsters would target the skeleton summon instead of me. They usually ignored him.

Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate it. We will look into this and see what we can do to better balance swordplay/magic.

Cool but boring so much

It's pretty good and quite hard :D Fun game!

Beat the game in an hour so I don't know where the remaining 4 hours of gameplay went. /brag. Anyway, I started out only leveling regular damage and after a while it became a "thing" so I decided to clear the game only leveling this stat, meaning that I couldn't access spells. While that's all fine and dandy, I did kind of feel screwed over because CRIT DOESN'T WORK! No, seriously. I did 240 damage with standard hits and crits, both did the same. I know that this isn't just a display bug as my hits and crits would both bring certain enemies to 10% hp. Also, blocks bugged out quite badly when used shortly after attacks, they'd not go off and then randomly go up after releasing the X key... the fireball auto aiming is also pretty annoying as you lose control of it.
Also, the bees are consistently the strongest enemies in the game (including bosses), what's up with that? I died 4 times total... 3 of which were caused by bees. MEH!

Could be 5/5 if some of the issues had been ironed out.

A very fun game, though it has some glaring flaws, mainly the control scheme, issue with instructions (It's not clear at first how you attack) and the tendency to freeze before entering a boss floor.

Still, it kept me entertained for a while.
