Reviews for "Infectonator : Hot Chase"

It's a decent little timewaster for a while, though contains a lot of annoyances, most of which I'm not sure whether to pin on bugs or just lazy design.

Cars are a major bitch in the later sections. Oncoming cars (which should be easier to notice, right?) have no warning whatsoever and are literally impossible to avoid when going upwards of 40 mph. In addition, after the desert section, cars come by more often than people. Their hitboxes seem sketchy at best as well.

From the desert section on, people are so scarce that it is nearly impossible to maintain your health without the weirdly rare powerups.

Some upgrades don't seem to work, or their effect is so minute that it makes no difference. I've maxed out the mutation chance upgrade, yet I still come across several hundred meter stretches with absolutely nothing.

The mutation upgrades themselves are outside of the duration bonus, useless. Despite having maxed all the mutations, with the exception of the tank every single one of them dies from the first obstacle/bullet that hits them. Most of them are also utterly useless. Puker's projectiles are barely any faster than your running speed at late game, bomber's actually are. Swag's special ability is insignificant and the control switch is a bigger hindrance than the lack of degeneration is a help. Charmer can be helpful at the carheavy sections, but once again due to health upgrades not working, it gets shot immediately after you get it. The only useful ones are the Brute and the Bolt.

The fact that you can't seem to rebind the boost key to anything is counter-intuitive, as you are left with either quickly moving the mouse around to use it or use spacebar for standard controls; and the spacebar is just not as good for it.

I don't know if this game has an actual ending, and a couple of the other comments seem to indicate that this is not the case. I haven't the patience to keep playing Infectinator: Hot Chase anymore to find out.

This game is a so-so game yet it might have some bugs.
Ze health is the problem since it depletes fast and the speed part is annoying cause when i'm so close to getting a human i slow down and i died. Sure I guess the upgrade are useful but idk when they are full. Some of the mutation zombies are useless and useful. The part that i really hate is the barricade. I mean when i get there i'm already in halve health.
i then got bored cause the barricade is pissing me off.
This game is challenging so i'm going to try to beat this......that is if i can make it to the 2nd stage with more then halve health and as well more speed. of course i could just turbo my way but.... yeah i'm gonna shut up now

It was fun at the start, but later on in the game it gets repetitive. At some point it gets very hard to progress, and the upgrades get too expensive. You just end up grinding more money for some upgrades (that are not very helpful later on, either). Also the game itself is not really rewarding. So I'm running, turning people into zombies. All I get is more money, so I can get upgrades, which will help me... run, and turn people into zombies. What's more to it?
Graphics are pretty neat, I really like the style. Music is also pleasant, nothing really catchy, but it adds some value to the game. I obviously liked previous Infectonator much more.

Yeah, I'm not sure what TornAsunder is on. Seems to be the same number of women as men overall (as far as I can identify gender in a game like this, maybe they are ladyboys). I liked the game, but it just takes way to long to get ahead. The differences each upgrade make are way too minute. As a result, the game becomes very repetitive. I also think luck plays a large role in the success of any given run. Great idea, great visuals in keeping with the infectonator franchise, just not well executed.

it's fine I suppose, but for me it gets boring quickly - vastly prefer the other infectonator games, especially world dom
