so that's my opinion of what just happened when i realised i wasted my life playing this game...
2 stars the music makes up for it!
Room for improvement...
Nothing new really. Though it is just an experiment, I can't forgive this for a few reasons:
-Floaty jumping controls: I felt like I was barely making the jumps almost every time. The way it works ends up just being annoying, in that you basically float upwards, then plummet to the ground as soon as you release the jump button. This makes jumps difficult to make and some obstacles are almost impossible to avoid.
-Obstacle placement: Gaps between buildings were OK (apart from the shoddy jumping making things difficult) but then sometimes there would be a block in the way right away making it incredibly difficult to make the jump.
-Huge gaps, then small gaps: Five gaps easy to jump, then one where you have to hold the jump for a few seconds, then let go and just hope for the best. I'm specifically talking about the jumping into tunnels (I guess?) since some of these were especially hard to make.
This could have been a cool game, but since this is really just a clone (and a crappy one at that) of a game such as doodle sprint (which I LOATHE) I can't say it's very original or fun.
