Reviews for "Idle Planet"

Ok game, nothing special.

A few recommendations to really help improve the game...
1. Built in Zoom. As is, zooming in and out using your browser's zoom function is all you can do, and that isn't exactly convenient due to how it zooms everything, not just in for more detail on the planet.
2. More powerful control. This feels like this is supposed to be a "god-like" game where you take the role of god, yet even the most basic elevation terraforming is beyond you. Some basic temperature manipulation would also be nice, even if you restrict it to a range around the base value.
3. More varied landmasses. Having them be mostly based on circles/cones restricts the shape of the land a bit, and results in way too many perfectly circular islands in the ocean (even if the continents are a little better off, they still tend to have coastlines that are too rounded as well).
4 Just something to faintly help the planet feel "more alive" would be be a rotation for it when you are not holding your mouse over it. It would make it feel a hell of a lot less static if it rotated on its own.
5. Finally, optimization+faintly better graphics. It is pretty laggy, even on my very powerful computer. Should also make the background "stars" have a bit more variety. Having them all be white and static just makes look dull (you can count this under 4 as well. Having the background starfield move slowly against the rotation of the planet would again help things feel a lot less static).

Potential is there, but you have a lot of things to boost for it to end up actually being good.

very fun i tried to make the whole planet a city but it didn't let me. :/ any way i got bored so i tried to kill all of the cities lots of fun things to do in this game but needs more detail

This type of idle game should have medals.

Ehhh I liked it a lot and it has great potential. But it gets alil repetitive after a while with all the clicking and the tiny ass sprites that if you move off of just barely its gone and its like. "Where the fuck they go?" So for maybe a future update or sequel you should think about adding some more features like disasters and wars and what not. Just so that it doesn't get so repetitive and alil stale over time. Also maybe make some population sizes for the humans and fauna and flora. Just so we know how many we have on the planet and we can better keep track of them. Yes I know that it will be a lot of work. Hell I don't expect it to be done for at least a year if you really kick your ass about it and at the most 6 years if your lazy about it. So till the time I see some updates or a sequel that is better than this one by a long shot. I will be giving your game 3 stars. I hope to speak to you soon.

This game starts off very slow-paced. Then after a while it becomes very fast-paced, and then it becomes very slow-paced once again. This is a game to keep running in the background while doing other stuff.

I would personally enjoy it more if it wasn't so drawn out, because even as a 'keep running in the background' type of game, it's still lengthy.
