I get stuck pretty early in the game. What do you do after "activating" the kitchen?

Really liking the art style and concept, but after going into the Corridor the game froze and just played the sound of footsteps repeatedly. I thought it might be a part of the story, but when it didn't resume I reloaded the page, and it went back to normal.
After those panels, I don't want to see a light-out puzzle again in my life! But the game was amazing overall.

i went to switch for door and turned it and went out to door and game froze.three times.
