Pretty hard point and click game. Every time you do something right you feel like a genius, that's the best part of the game.
its hard enough i had to use a walkthrough
*inhales* *then exhales* That piano. Was. TORMENTING! The funny thing about it is that I had worked out the riddle behind it with minimal help from looking at the previous reviews, but the main problem I was having with it was the I MYSELF was off by a number! For the longest while, I was counting 8 hash marks for one of the keys when there was really 7! Oy, the facepalm I gave myself when I found out...
Anyway about the game itself, I had played the previous one before playing this one, and I must say that, despite not being a fan of 'Escape' games, both of these were really well thought out with a haunting atmosphere (the first one especially on the haunting part (the silver bullets led me to believe I had to shoot a werewolf)). On both, I myself had to refer to the appropriate walkthroughs to complete the game, but all in all, I liked '...Basement' and '...Estate' enough to see them through to the end (3 ends in Basement). I hope that this doesn't end with estate, because I am eager to see what happens to this Kane character.
Awesome game! I kept playing to get the medals. Acts weird and is hard to manage, but other than that its awesome. Good work.
