Gah this took forever for me to figure out, but something that ought to help people with the piano; get piece of paper from living room. We all receive different numbers which makes this most difficult to explain. My numbers were 6,4,2,1,5,3 (yours will be different). You will notice that above this group of numbers are six symbols each either beginning with a L or R. The L and the R indicate the direction from which you start and the number of lines indicate which key to press. L(5lines)(5lines)(4lines) would mean start from the Left and press the 14th key. R(5lines)(5lines)(5lines)(2lines) would mean select the key 17th from the Right. In my example I had the numbers 6,4,2,1,5,3 . You will also notice that there are 6 total L and R's. Each L and R is a group. So, in my example, the first key that I select on the piano is what I have as the 6th group of symbols L(25). The second key i press is the 4th group R(13). My third key is the 2d group L(23), my fouth key is the 1st group R(9), 5th key is my 5th group L(1) and the last key corresponds to the 3rd grouping of symbols L(16)

Something that I found that helped me is to have the window with the game open (but not taking up the whole screen) and have the note paper open. Then hit PrtSc, and paste that in Paint. Then you can quickly see what the numbers are and you won't waste time re-looking at the paper!

Hope this helps!

This game is awesome because the music is soothing, the puzzles are challenging but not impossible, and the atmosphere is dark and depressing. Compared to the first game which is dark and scary. I ask you though, why did Kane choose you to die?
However, the game does have it's flaws like the fact that you can't interact with other items. You should give the character the ability to interact with anything. You should also either have the cursor item naming like say if you put the cursor onto the bed, it should say "Bed" and when you click bed it should say "I don't wanna sleep in it yet". Also, what happened to Rosie? Did she die or did she leave him? Because I saw blood in the basement at the first game but no blood in the second. Still, if you would try to make a scary game, you'd probably scare us to death. I may tell because of how dark both the basement and estate games are.

------Secret, caution do not read this if you want to figure out the basement part yourself-------

Seems like almost everyone has problems with the piano part. It's easy in my opinion but tedious and sometimes eye numbing.
L (10) means 10 keys from the left side.
R(10) means 10 keys from the right side.

To escape, play a six noted pattern from the paper you found at the living room.

To go back to the basement aka get the insane metal, this clue although people say it's a smart clue and it's a bit obvious...not really but you be the judge.

To go back to the basement, play a secret six-noted pattern which is the date of when Rosey sent the letter to kane from the left side of the piano. So it's:
L9, L8, L1, L9, L9, L3.

I figured it out because of the fact that it has something to do with the piano AND the first letter. Although it would be better if the word "Date" would be carved at the basement door, that would be a good hint.

Overall, Great game mate, I wonder, is there going to be a third game or is this the last part of the game?

wheres the laptop?
