Though the "game" is fairly immersive when you start, its problems become more and more apparent the farther you play.
Such as its sloppy controls, unresponsive buttons (especially with dialog progression), messy level design, and of course its pretentious story.
But, if i where to give credit where it is due.
The music is emotional and full of magic.
But it's story... ugh i was putting together exactly what kind of story it was going to be, with in the first act.
Of course i had not played the original game, but from what i could see of this game is that it's a prequel to the game Heat.
A story of madness, Friendship, and discovery of the darkness inside of the main character.
Though many questions still remain, such as the disappearance of Sam the cat, where the mother went, ect.
Is the main character a insane killer or is something else in the air.
And as my favorite imbecilic director would say, in regards to Light, "What a twist!"
All in all a game that want's to drive you but all the while fights against you with its control and juvenile writing, and deeply flawed game play.
