Reviews for "Misadventure"

I swear I've played this before......

Incredibly original. It's amazing how such simple gameplay and graphics produce a game of such ambiance. The game was just the right length for what it's trying to do and never overstays its welcome. The puzzles were challenging without being frustrating and, more important, you managed to make a tense atmosphere and, I'd even say, some scary moments with simple 8-bit graphics and with little in the way of jumpscares.
I salute your work, and I hope you keep making gems like this.

I've played the original Adventure on a friend's old Atari 2600 and the way you managed to incorporate the old school style pixel graphics was awesome. The idea of demons using a video game console as a dimensional portal gave it an added twist, especially as they start to get break through with every death. Fun story, fun game play.

5/5.

It's a really, really good game. Simple graphics until obviously all the jumpy shit happens, simple objectives, but a great concept.

What I most love about it is the music and some of the hidden things, like when you loose more lives there's trickles of blood on the wall behind the tv and what not.

Simple, but effective. An amazing game.

While this was an incredibly awesome game, and feels like horror done right, I couldn't help but feel kind of confused. It said that my goal was the Sword of Quantum and saving the universe, but when I did the obvious with the sword, it said I lost. I'm not wanting to spoil anything, but I'd like a little bit of clarity as to what happened.
