Reviews for "Run Run Ran"

This is kind of an interesting circumstance... I Hate the run/jump/slide type of games. However, it turns out that I only hate the horizontal type. The idea of having a top down version changed my opinion on the genre. I loved this game for the first... hour or so. Then it occurred to me that I don't feel like I'm making any type of progress. The upgrades are nice if you're collecting money, but none of the upgrades really increase your ability to get any more distance than the first time you've played. If you go back and rethink the upgrades, and how they could possibly affect your ability to travel a further distance (that one potion aside), this could be a great game. Right now I have to give you a 3.5 but I can see that with some different ideas this would easily be a 5 for me. Good luck on any future projects.

this shit is f*ck1ng impossiblee....
tried a lot, im even good at this kind of games, wasnt able to encounter a boss....
so, basiclly ,,l,,

The controls take a little bit of getting used to, but the game itself looks pretty good on a visual standpoint, and the music is great! Overall, not bad.

Ideas for more upgrades that this game sorely needs? Other acceleration of coin-earning methods, for one thing. A stronger wolf for another. And perhaps a zoom out upgrade.

My main beef with this is that the wolf becomes kind of useless rather quickly due to its speed and not being to see anything. As more obstacles clutter the map that are 'impervious', the wolf becomes a double-edged sword due to this small range of vision.

Coin-getting should feel like work, but shouldn't feel TEDIOUS. I was getting 0.5 second bonuses from 3 or 4 runs of getting coins. What kind of reward system is that?

The bounty/achievement boards were cool, except I can't shoot, and therefore can't get half of them. I don't know why it isn't working (even when she has the guns out).

Overall a good concept that is poorly balanced...and therefore more tedium and frustration than fun after the first few minutes.

I encountered a lot of "features" I'd like to call a bug:
- Money does not carry over to the next round (does not get saved) : -1,5 stars
After each run I really only have the money I earned in exactly this one run. Leftovers from the run before? Zero!
- Sound options get reset after entering the shop. - 0,5 stars
I muted the music, but every time I entered the shop, bg music started again. Had to unclick the mute and mute it again each time.

Otherwise a nice game that even makes you do some multi-tasking (evading barrels while shooting posters + trying to get as many coins as possible)

3 Stars, but mostly because of bugs
