Reviews for "The Children of Brinn"

"Big damn heroes." Nice Firefly reference.

It's okay I guess. Nothing too special though.
To be perfectly honest there are some thing I should point out:

First to address the obvious: The choices in some places were too limiting. Aside from one road (I believe the 'Cutting Edge' one) the rest were kind of linear, a simple choice between A and B (sometimes C) where you either pick the correct answer or lose the game... or just die no matter the choice. I believe your latest 'Sagittarian' title also suffers from this. These kinds of games need to follow the 'No right answers' rule, where whatever you pick will prove to be both a gain and have (some) consequences later in the story. It might have been better if sometimes the same decision led to different results, although I'm not sure that's what you were aiming at.

The thing that got me the most was this fake 'inventory' on the left. I was quite disappointed with having one and not being able to properly use it. At best you collect one or two items during the whole adventure, and these always automatically go to the same characters, so what's the point of including an inventory list anyway? Perhaps these slots were just a matter of aesthetics? It's still a waste really.

Rest of it is good. Well... average. Maybe the main plot was a bit cliché/predictable, but then again that's a completely subjective matter. On the other hand, we could've used some more character interaction... eh, I digress. Technically it's simple but functional, and there is room for improvement.

sorry i thought it was gonna be an adventure game but insteade it is just a reading game sorry bro i dont like this type of game but ik u worked hard on it so here is 3 stars

I played this game about 8 times and i made it 685th place in the scoreboard

I started out and I was like "Sweet text adventure with dungeon crawling elements!" but it's not very addicting. I just can't get it into it. The music is nice but it's way too quiet. I add to turn my volume almost all the way up to hear it. Also I think maybe something more than just text. You compare this to The Sagittarian but The Sagittarian at least uses some artwork to show you what is going on, but I do see you mentioned more art and less text and mentioned updating it. I would love you to update this and add some artwork and I would gladly come back and replay the updated version.
