Reviews for "The Children of Brinn"

but yet, its too shot to be the best of the week.

I had a very good time playing this, though it was far from perfect. Too often I felt like I had no control over what was happening, despite the decisions I made. There were also too few choices. This is, of course, my opinion. It was still enjoyable. So then,
+ Interesting characters
+ Story hints at a larger world that could be fleshed out in future
+Visuals serve their purpose
+Medal's are well implemented with story, and work.
-------------------------------------
----
-The ability to have items, yet very few are available.
-Too few choices.
-Characters abilities and skills are rarely taken advantage of.

Good music use, and gives the feeling of a glimsp into a larger world. Is a bit simple, and the replay value is low, but for an experiment game, is pretty good.

it was in generally good but,
I missed a few times the more extensive use of the characteristics and traits of the characters.

for instance you could be making more use of Linkas battle knowledge (so far she only plays with her poison arrows)

Further it would be need if after you make a choice and a new mission starts, that your previous choices affect the next.
For example, you enter the inn at the beginning of the game so that your companions are better rested and fit for combat so the next hurdle is easier to overcome. or when the locus mission is complet characters you met earlier will come back and treat you friendly/unfriendly according how you have treated him/her. those are some Ideas I fine missing in the game. if you perfect them I think people will even pay (like by a Steam account) to play it when you give them a free sample here. it really is a nice touch I don't really miss moving action maybe some art and a odd little puzzle and you are set.

Nice little choose-your-adventure game with some pleasant background music.
