Reviews for "The Children of Brinn"

This is very short... but still good.
Also I gained 64 points for winning, and 69 for loosing. Kind of strange.

Hyptosis responds:

You get to keep some of the points from previous plays, wins, and losses. I thought it might be nice for players who explore all the options to have higher scores, I dunno, haha. :P

This is probably one of the best games of this type I've seen, but like all the others, I quickly got bored and left, perhaps, sound effects, narrator, animations, change of the character pictures (like their expression), finding new items would make it more interesting. The choices also made sense, and so did their outcome, but there just wasn't enough of them, should have at least four.

Other than grammar mistakes, short and sweet :) The typography and colours make my eyes tired easily though.

Wow, I'm having some very mixed emotions about it. It seemed like it would be really annoying with how everything was a secret medal. It interestingly turned out to be easier to get those medals than I thought. It wasn't really that much of a point and click adventure game anyway. It was more just made entirely of dialogue. I can't say I didn't enjoy it, because it was quite interesting.

I just prefer games that have more action. Still, if you are a fan of these kinds of games, then I recommend this to you! It does have a pretty cool layout. I wish it would tell me what my score is when the other scores are shown. I guess I have to pay more attention next time.

Good game, I had fun playing it. Text wasn't too heavy, maybe a bit much, but not to the point where it becomes just a pain in the butthole to read. There's a lot of potential for more visual aesthetics. Speaking of visuals, while the characters are well-designed, what's the use of a 6 item-space inventory when characters only pick up one or two items?
Overall, nice simple game. A lot of room for improvement in the future.
