I would love this game if I could change the controls. It's stuuuuuupid hard, but I think part of that is I would love to move with wasd jump with ' and shoot with ;.
Design is great, music is fine, and the game seems really... fun
There is a lot of elements missing from this game and quite a few issues..lets start:
Medals broken...completed the first level and i didn't get my medal.
second stage scrolls vertically WAY to slow it was painful as most of the time i was waiting for the stage to scroll.
Cannot shoot diagonally...i can only shoot in 4 directions..should be 8...i should also be able to lay down in a prone position and shoot at the floor level
flame thrower.. is broken, i cannot jump forward and shoot at the same time...
this game is just lacking so much...unlimited ammo? why not have it so that you can cycle through your weapons and the only weapon that should have unlimited ammo is the starting pistol.
the movement feels sticky, when i stop pressing forward i stop immediately..it makes it very artificial.
you pretty much stole all the sound effects and sprite designs from a wide variety of games..everything from ..megaman to sonic..
why is the starting pistol rapid fire? rapid fire should be a weapon pick up..
this game would have been awesome.......in the 90's...but now its very out of date, and while you can still make great old school games, you need to implement the standard features that are in games....like customization, or the ability to upgrade SOMETHING weather it be health, fire power,
Its like Megaman mixed with Contra. Got to love it. I will need to come back and play with a controller tho.
