When I found out my minion was my dead husband I wasn't really surprised. When I read my bio saying I play the widow of a rogue named @ I nearly pissed myself laughing. Before I give a legit review that is the awesome. No doubt this is a roguelike.
This game is satisfying. This game is challenging. This game is awesome.
I've had little experience in the field of roguelikes, but what little I played they were fun and quick adventures sure to get yourself killed in the depth of their randomness meaning they had little reason to feel stressed about losing since you pretty much knew you were dead to begin with. This game has that same promise.
Graphics are gorgeous and set the scene of dungeons and caves brilliantly. I'm a bit awe struck and have seemingly lost the rest of the review. Oh yes, some more music would be nice; but thank you for the ability to specifically turn off the music. Thank you for the ability to rebind keys. And thank you for an intriguing game.
