Reviews for "Rivea"

Can't say I got very far, my ship became invincible after using a bomb, even after going to the next level. An error popped up while I was playing as well(I'm using the debug version of Flash), wish I copied it so I could show it to you guys. I simply love the minimal menu design, and the particle effects that are going on. Beyond that, I can't say I enjoyed the game, but the game couldn't be played as intended so I can't really speak much on the merits of the game itself.

ZEGMAN responds:

Thanks for the review, that's very strange :(

a ship game without shooting?

ZEGMAN responds:

You shoot at the bosses

Not one of the better bullet hell games I've seen. My particular complaints are:
- There are no 'enemies' launching the bullets, or indeed any sort of indication about where the bullets will come from, so the first time you play a level, you can get caught right beside a bullet-firing point without any warning.
- The bullets often come in several very different colors simultaneously, making it unreasonably hard to keep track of them.
- Many of the graphical transitions take a long time to complete, for no obvious reason, which is frustrating when you know exactly what's going on and just want to get to the next screen quickly.

On the plus side, the graphics are smooth, and the music is decent without being distracting.

Clicking just pauses the game instead of activating the bomb on Firefox. So much of the game isn't doable on Firefox for that very reason. Hence losing major stars in the rating.

Played on Chrome I was able to get everything except the game cheated me out of the Resourceful medal which I don't know if clearing cache (which I really don't want to do) and trying again at another time will get me that medal or not.

Never finishes loading.

Specifically: the bar fills up on the initial loading screen, but the indicator still says 0%. If I click 'PLAY' on the ad anyway, and then 'Play' on the title screen, I'm presented with what I assume is the level-select screen -- but there is nothing in the large central box, and the throbber in the lower right spins eternally.

(Interestingly, while the Achievements menu functions in this state, the Options, Upgrades, and Mute buttons don't.)

ZEGMAN responds:

That's very strange. All I can suggest is clearing your cookies and try reloading the game. What browser are you using?
