Great game with a few bugs. Really frustrating to randomly lose an item! Especially when it's all my magic, right when I get a red sword with awesome magic proc.
Also, the most dangerous part is not the boss, but after the boss; you have no chance to get potions before you must fight through 2 levels, then you can finally go back and kill some fiends. How about a few potions for defeating the big boss?
One of the best games i've ever played on Newgrounds. I've alway been a fan of Dungeon Crawlers of any kind, and this on is a pearl. Great concept, nice control, pretty good sound and awesome 8bit art.
But, i'm experiencing HUGE savebugs here. Sometimes, on a floorchange (or on the roomchange to a boosfight), my browser just hangs itself and i have to replay the whole floor. thats a bit disturbing, but not a very big deal.
Sometime though, the game saves my progress, but "steals" some of my equiptment. its really, really disturbing if your on the 8th floor, and have to use your bare hands instead of your red hammer.

This is a superb game. i love the classic looks & music. Game play is very good. the level up works very well and magic combo is nice. My only complaint is that there needs to be more variety in weapons & the dungeons. Like when you beat the final boss and you goo to the next area make the dungeon bigger and maybe some puzzles too. Over all i love it and thought it was great. There is a lot of potential here if you work at it can be so much more. would love to see Bit dungeon 2.
This game is excellent. It's frustrating to die when you get so far, but that's not a bad thing. That makes it more challenging. It makes me take a break and then later I want to play it again more than before.
