Awesome game love the DeathStrike glitch!!!
Awesome game! Very addicting! Just played it for like 4 and a half hours...phew...didn't die...just gave up...Keep making games this was a good game but there are lots of things in that could be improved. It has a nice non complex feel, but I think I bit more complexity may help it. Either way keep programing!
currently on lvl 32... getting a bit bored, taking a break to review. (thank you to another reviewer for pointing out the game auto saves upon exit, as long as u don't die)
I currently have almost 6500 attack and a decent crit, magic proc, defend, and death strike value. I put all my perks in attack and only use chaos magic...all i do is walk back and forth across a room and everything is dead. bosses don't even stand a chance.
I disagree with most reviews- a continue button is not needed, since replay is part of the mastery process. Its easy to die sometimes in early levels right after a boss fight in the very first room. Sometimes staying alive requires a little bit of luck/gear, but if you use your magic and target the right enemies first you should be in good shape...after that just re-enter rooms and kill fiends for potions.
here are the things that need to be fixed-
explanation of stats- (unless i missed it somewhere?)
There is a bug where my weapon keeps vanishing. it happened twice throughout my current game (this is the only major error, which is why i knocked off half a star)
critical damage perk is pointless! a critical hit is only your base damage + critical damage... so there is no point in getting damage perks for something that sometimes procs, as opposed to your base damage which always hits. (i continually checked my values- there does not seem to be any type of multiplier)
item levels are generally low even at higher levels, except for rare boss drops or free treasure rooms- this tends to be bothersome when my weapon vanishes. I think at lvl 32 I should be seeing purple chests at the minimum.
music sometimes overlaps on new lvl.
other then that... its obvious its an enjoyable game (even with the repetition) since i am still playing.
oh and just a side comment- what is up with those purple fiends? at the higher levels they sometimes seem to do more damage than the bosses with a strange attack ....
so mad there is not a resume button i got all demon equipment then died from enemy overload good game tho :D
Continue button. 'Nuff said.
