Very nice game. I like the entire theme and music, which blend in very nicely.
Oh, and to the whiners, don't confuse "slippery" or "bad" controls with the requirement for precision. The controls are actually pretty precise and non-slippery. However the hit-boxes for the spikes are a little unforgiving. One solution might be to increase the on-screen size of your character, which gives the player a bit more of a visual cue...
The below poster is right. It's a neat game, but the controls are hideous. It totally ruins the game in the name of fake difficulty.
Loved the difficulty on this, great game. Got about 400 and something deaths, hardest level was the last one. The controls felt great, I have no idea why people says they're horrible. Found them tight and pretty responsive. Faved.
The trick is to tap the up key for tiny jumps! Nice patience tester... I think it took me an hour, and I ended up getting 13th place on the scoreboard =D, but that will change soon I fear. My only problem was the fact I couldn't redo a level, because I'm an acheivement whore and I wanted to get those chests that I passed up.
Love the graphics... it's too bad this is yet another one of those games that tries to make things difficult by making the controls terrible. Half points for a nice shell anyway.
