He's Back!

Hey, youre back. I like your new songs. THey have a different style than before, though they are just as good. I hope your new songs are as good as the old ones. The Guitar and bass are very good and the intro is quite good. The melody is elegant and smooth. Overall a very good song, with a majestic orcheastreal feel.

MaestroRage responds:

My style has changed a fair deal, as I learn to mold more and more complex songs, and learn more theory, my style changes slightly... and in all honesty this was the fear that had held me a few weeks ago. With more knowledge, I am losing an older sense of who I was. So in essense, MaestroSorrow truly did die... oh well. I guess no point in worrying about it. I'll write him a requiem and we'll all get on with our lives ^^.

Thanks for the review slayer456.

Hmmm

When I listened to this piece I didn't quite see what you intended it for. For me, this song conjures more of a scene involving journeying through a desolate landscape. I don't really know why, but that is what I see when I listen to this. The simple repeated sound of the acoustic guitar coupled with the percussion almost has a sort of jazz feel to it, but the other instruments pull it more into the realm of a classical piece. This song sort of grows on you the more you listen to it. Well done Maestro.

MaestroRage responds:

It's perfectly alright if you are seeing an image outside of my scope denvermagi. In fact that is something I look for in every review, it is interesting to see how the same foundation can present so many different variations of worlds. By your previous review in Cloak of Wonderment, I am going to guess you are a fan of landscapes. I too am a huge fan of landscape, the emotions, the stories they fill in my head, are astounding.

I do tend to overdo the whole tragedy scene though huh ;). Thank you for the continued support and reviews denvermagi, they really mean a good deal to me. I'm glad you found the songs enjoyable.

One word. Awesome!

I like all of your songs. How many songs have you made?Whats your best one?

MaestroRage responds:

I've made in total 500 ish songs.

100 of them are full fleshed out pieces, and 400 are earlier/trial/experimental pieces.

My favouritest of them all, is a question I don't think I can answer. My personal taste changes nearly every month, and so what I thought was my best piece, may not be something I like next week. Currently though my favourite is Rite of Passage.

Thanks for the review, i'm glad you liked the piece ^^.

Wow! Simply amazing!

Once again, Maestro, you never cease to amaze.

MaestroRage responds:

Thank you kindly stormtrooper495! I'm glad you find yourself enjoying the work, thanks again for the review :)

Simple wow

I watched as he walked farther and farther, remember the good, and the bad. I never wanted to leave him. Never. He was only a dot on the red horizon when I began to cry. Goodbye father.
These songs really force me to write. I get so much inspiration i have to let it out in words. (and i DO have a father thank you very much)

MaestroRage responds:

I'm glad that you find yourself writing to these songs runescapeop. That is why I make them, to invoke imagery and emotions in the listeners.

I would never question if you had a father or no, but I can see where this story stems from. It does have that bitter quality to it.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!
