Great game
Finding a good skill balence took a little trial and error, but wasn't too bad. Graphics were simple, but played well and fit the game nicely. Music and sound effects added well to overall gameplay. Story was unique and simple enough to follow while complex enough to be intresting. In all, a very good game, but not a lot of replay value.
Do agree some sort of 'good' ending would be nice. As would a 'previous weapon' 'next weapon' option.

It was decent. I think it could've been more interesting, but I liked the lab system and such. The first game took me 8 days, next game 6, next game... 2.5, this game, 2.4ish.
Anyway.. I'd probably add a shooty enemy who tries to stay away from you, maybe give the player a few more choices. Make a weapon or two that are interesting, like a rocket, some grenades, etc.. Stuff that is situationally good and bad.
I'd also add a weapon change system between next and previous weapon.
