Great game - Chrono-Trigger like graphics, evokes fear well with all the random elements used in different successful games (random text, flashing graphics, sounds, etc.), even including the amnesia-esque lantern. Slightly buggy (sometimes walk away from the scren or get stuck; the sprite for our protagonist sometimes faces the wrong way) but that's okay, given that it's a really effective as a horror Flash game (especially since I played late at night with nobody home).
Okay, midway through the game, I've found a way to be somewhat efficient on my resources with minimal lantern usage (which is low anyway) and made it past day 22 with no end in sight, no idea what I'm supposed to do (make a run for it? die on purpose?), so I left it to autosave. Not sure if I got three prompts to open the door, but I rejected it every time. There were knocks later on as well, but with no prompts.
