Reviews for "ir/rational Redux"

Is it me or does the game think that "Jack is ill and Jill is not ill" is different from "Jill is not ill and Jack is ill"?

This was really fun! I took a symbolic logic course last semester (spring 2012) and I enjoyed it. I never thought I'd use it again, even for a game, but I had a lot of fun playing it and didnt have to use any hints! Yay for a decent memory!

is it bad if i think this is simple... ThE mAcHiNe Is nOt PeRfEcT... hehe good game

Wonderful game, but I think I have an alternate solution to #9.

1. If the Machine has contradicted itself,
then the Machine is not perfect.
2. The Machine claims to be perfect and all knowing.
3. The Machine claims that you PROBABLY know what a red herring is.
4. If the Machine is uncertain of your knowledge of a red herring,
then the Machine is not all knowing.
5. Therefore the Machine is not all knowing.
6. If the Machine is not all knowing,
then the Machine has contradicted itself.
7. Therefore, the Machine has contradicted itself.
8. Therefore, the Machine is not perfect.

Yay! I knew philosophy would come in handy one day :)
This is a fun way to introduce people to the proper presentation style/thought process used in philosophy.
HOWEVER, I cant rate this 5 stars because I disagree with one of the questions...
*spoiler*
in Q9, the machine could have been saying 'yes' to the fact that YOU are indeed wondering if the smugness is a relevant clue, and not to the potentially false statement that the MACHINE thinks the smugness is a relevant clue.

You guys should make a sequel, though.
1. I want a sequel
2. If you a gamer/game maker/philosopher, you should obey my whims.
3. You fulfill at least one of those roles
Therefore, MAKE ANOTHER ONE O_O
