I like the retro feeling of this game.
BTW Baron-Creel, if you had taken your time to read the screen that came right after GamePirate but before the title screen you would have seen that the game was made by both Alexitron AND Amidos. Take your time to investigate more before making accusations like that. Is not cool.

Awesome game! The graphics, sound and overall theme may be simple, but they invoke the old school charm of an early arcade machine, which is a plus in my book. The controls were simple, and while game was difficult in some spots, it never got frustrating.
My only complaint is the final battle.

Honestly, I really expected the king to have something more impressive than just having you go through his four bodyguards again. They're great for a warm up, but I still expected the battle to have more 'oomph'.

Regardless this was a well crafted game, and I hope to see more like it.
By the way, just out of curiosity, would you happen to be planning a sequel?

this was a remake of a free game maker game from 2008 and we decided to make a final boss fight but Alexitron and I got busy and couldn't do these stuffs so we decided to stick to the old ending without boss fight
Very challenging flash game managed to beat it I think? I guess the ending was more of those cliffhanger things I guess? But anyways I liked it and story seemed pretty interesting and game played alot like metroid which is a good game
I rather like it, although I notice that you wasted the PERFECT opportunity for a level creator. I would have loved to see that. "Take the power and create a world in which you can settle down" then you go and make a world, and hell, maybe (since the characters and enemies are so simple) a character creator. Of course, all of these things might be a little bit too difficult for you, but I still would have loved to see it.
