This game is a holocaust of all things fun.
Your hitbox is bizarre and jumping is fantastically impercise.
Just because you want to make something "retro" doesn't mean it needs to be obtuse.

In reality, this is a great game, however, I've ultimately had a hard time playing it. I enjoy the whole 'grow as you progress' factor, as it is necessary for games such as this to work. But there are some points where the environment is quite overwhelming. I'm currently at the second point you encounter the guy who refers to you as "Mini-Stranger", but I have the hardest time getting there with enough health to stand a chance against him. I guess that is my own problem though, there must be something I can do better.
One thing I think could be a little better would be some of the story-line and the text. I don't even recall any mention of the main character losing 'his stuff' at any time (Though I might have not been paying close enough attention when he may have said that.) Also, it might have been a little more interesting if there was some dialogue between your character and the others, as opposed to implied statements, though it wasn't necessary for the game, so I'm fine with it. (I also have noticed a few grammar errors throughout the game, though I guess it isn't that big of a deal.)
Overall, it's still a good game, despite the fact that I've had some troubles with it (Which is my own problem lol).

That was the problem of the sponsor :( he wanted to decrease the intro text so he removed some parts of the original text where it mentioned that the player got fired so he threw away all his stuff in his ship to distract the attackers :)
Interesting, but ultimately slightly unsatisfying
This game I love, and is going on my list of faves. It's a lot like Metroid, where you collect powerups and make yourself even stronger through progression. After crash landing on a mysterious planet filled with unique bosses and monsters, it all fits real well! Nice Work!
nice game but aparently there is a bug that makes a ''thump thump'' sound all the friggin game i thoug it was part of the game but i refreshed and it fixed too late if i am to say i finished the game first also it would be nice if you give some hints on how to kill bosses because some of them are really annoyiing to figure out
