It's okay.
Nothing that really grabs my interest and makes me want more. The plot is fairly generic and the characters are painfully archetypal.

Potential yet untapped
Let not the fools who see only it's graphics lead you astray. For though it lacketh in the dazzle and charm of a masterpiece, a diamond in the rough is found in it's stories and even in it's character. The soundtrack sounded very fitting, neither over-bearing nor unnoticable, but it could use touch-ups in lip syching and fluidity of motions. Although i have little room to critisize since i havent even opened a animator engine, i created this account so that icould ease your mind away from those who only see short term and can't comprehend growth in story and animator like i can. Keep going strong and keep this story alive in your mind.
(On a side note, is it bad that i knew exactly who Omahdon was? XP)
Great. Has great Potential
It has potential. And the idea is good. Animation and voices were very good. no lagging so thats another plus. only issue i saw was poor designs on the characters. you would have arms off balance and such. but as it goes, im sure it will get better.
Anime Inspired and Stuff!
Dunno if it was intentional or not but I was feeling some Naruto Shippuden (did I spell it right?) vibes throughout the entire animation (character attire, models, behavior, story, etc.) So is that the "anime-inspired" stuff? :P Its fine though, this series has some great potential!
First off, I admire an animator that posts something that is longer than 2-4 minutes, with decent animation nonetheless. And it is only going to get better from here! Music was great as well, especially the credit music.
Also, another plus, the menu. Scene selection, replay button, great additions to an animation if ya' wanna see your favorite scenes again, instead of watching it ALL over again (especially long flashes like this) You get brownie points for easter eggs and character bios! :D
However, with the good comes the bad. Animation was decent yet choppy in certain scenes, especially the more action-oriented ones. Personally, I felt the characters were rather cliche (distant protaganist, energetic support character, power-hungry villian, etc.) But, it would be unfair to entirely judge the characters in only one animation, your characters have room to develop and separate themselves from the carbon-copies out there.
All in all, this animation has proven it can be something more. You have worked hard on this and I hope you work even harder on the next one, and the next one, and the next one... you get the point. It has been a while since I've seen a good series on Newgrounds, you can definitly pull it off. We, as viewers, will have to wait and see what you have to offer.
As always, I am thankful you took the time and effort to animate this for us viewers. Some people don't appreciate all the hard work that goes into making an animation (its hard stuff brah!) I wish you the best of luck!
