Flawless... almost

This game is almost perfect - from the idea to the design and the interface. Its only problem is the terrible trade system - imagine, how long you have to hold the left mouse button to buy, say, 3000 stones? This pretty much ruins all the fun.
Except for this, the game is superb!

Yeah, I was trying to code in a way to hold down shift, to increase the trade rates. I'll figure that out for the next one. ^_^

I love this kind of game!

And you've made a solid, simple game. My only peeve, and this knocked you from 10 to 8, is that I cannot sell goods in lots. I seriously have spent the bulk of my time with this game in the trade screen holding down the mouse button.
When I have enough resources to say, buy 5000 stone for a keep when I only have round 200 stone, I should not have to spend 5+ minutes to trade it. If I could just select that I want to convert 125 gold into silver and then by 5000 stone (think that's the math anyway) then that would make this game phenomenal in my book.

Beautifully rendered simulation =)

Pluses:

Excellent art.
Easy interface.
Good learning curve.
Random events are quite fun.
Some funny scripts.

Hurdles:

Tedious trading method. Input box is highly recommended.
Cheese trade is highly exploitable. Cheese market value should be reduced.
Info on troop expedition would be a minor but good addition to the interface.
Bland expedition. Short animation scenes during expedition would be sweet.

It's really good, but need some fine tuning

I like the fact that different heroes have their uses, it'd be really interesting if the game could sent 2 heroes at once, since they earn experience any way, I think implementing a level up system for the heroes is also a +

I wish there is more building upgrades or research available to them, like in TD games where you can specialized to do a certain things.

The only complaint i have is why after the research, you still need so much $ for the expedition, I think the expedition fees is a little bit too high scaling them down would be better imo anyway.

To say one thing, it's really a great game spent 3 hours without noticing, good job
