Reviews for "Guild Dungeons"

It is has it's good things BUT also it's bads.

The gameplay is simple. Which is a nice thing. It's easy to get into the game while there are a few things you don't understand in the beginning which get's clearer as you progress with your village.

There are a few problems I can see and that is that there is lack of music overall. there are a few musica pieces that just randomly pops up or appears when you've completed or failed the game. That would add a nice addition towards the whole game.

The whole economy is rather. Easy and as soon as you get enough lumber you can soon sit with thousands and thousands of lumber and only a few thousands of stone(if even that). While trade is something that I think is good. it is rather simplistic trade window with the limitation of selling, one resource and buying one resource at a time. The repeat is good, but it works too slow once you get to the higher cost. Such as 5000 stone. It would be recomended that you add selling and buying in chunks of ten and maybe 100.

There is very little information really about the spells, you are just thrown into a make your own spells. A book that saves the spells you've already created so you don't have to memorize every combination and what it does would be a good adition to an update.

Needs improvements, but good game

I'll probably end up saying about the same as everyone else, but this is what I have to say.
I like the top part, where you can see your little town. At first I was very confused on how to play the game since there weren't any directions [or I just didn't notice them]. Clicking is horrible, so I just used an autoclicker and it still took a long time. When you buy items, make it buy-10, but-100, buy-500. or just put in the amount you want to buy.
When I picked a commander, I was just messing around and clicking things, and I picked 4 I guess.. and I couldn't rechange it? I had no idea what that was.
My stats as I quit:
115,000 population
13K estimated each tax collection
like 3 million wood [nothing to use it for really, except to increase population.. but since it goes 1 at a time, it takes too long even with autoclicker]
and a ton of soldiers

so, I eventually gave up cause I thought I'd gotten OP enough to finish the last mission, and I failed.. and failed again.. and again
each time increasing the amount of soldiers. Still, no matter what I did I couldn't beat it. My hundreds of each kept dying. I used items to try and help, but since there isn't a good description on them, I don't know what to change.
for the quests, the loading bar was annoying. I'm sure it's something optional, but it was just annoying.
iron, grey stone, fruit, and ale were super hard to get cause of the natural buildings would take too long, and trading for them took ages.
I'm sure there are more things I could mention, but honestly I'm very tired from playing this game.
It needs improvements, but it will be an awesome game when finished.

Like Kenxeus Said...

Here is my full opinion. I hope you find it helpful.

-Music: None, please add a switch for it, like some mystic or long battle music, or Midevil.

-Story: You`re a king, like that Wii game I played a couple of times but way better and free. There is not much story but it's still fun.

-Gameplay: An RPG sort of, as you develop your town. Very fun but long, some bugs and stuff that bugs me, but it's still a great game.

-Art: Beautiful, you aced the art, not much to talk about that.

-Bugs and Ideas: I think you should add 10 and 100 trades on the trade system and have the buy and sell on seperate pages. I hate clicking 1 million times to buy gray stone. Also, mushrooms are 750 gold to buy and to sell are 25?, I think you should make it 50% or 25%. And I think you should add 10 and 100 for buying units, because it takes too long. Finally, you should add more to the castle life and make more dungeons, and "nerf" some dungeons. Oh, I almost forgot, please make a save option.

Final Rating: 4/5 9/10

Great game but I expected more from you.

The game was too repetitive too much clicking........
I REPEAT TOO MUCH CLICKINGG!~!!

The ending sucked just a screen saying ultimate victory.
You are a great artist I expected some cool ending using your art.

Quest are useless you get way more from the city.

This games is way too longgg took me ours to complete each map dot.

I was able to finish all levels with 100 units of each except last level all my units die. So I hired 300 of each unit and was able to finish it.

Its not all about unit quantity you should always hire a scout to see what is needed.

Great game!!! Just lacks utility.

First of all I gave it a 7!!! Yeah! Right? Sad part, X[ is you could of had a 10. Like I said in the title is that you have utility problems in your game, others have mentioned it too. I know I'm a new user like wow just made an account.
"Just for your game btw"
Anyway though, I'm going to try to list all of the problems right now. Because lets be honest if you can fix these your going in the right direction, at least for me.

The Utility is the games biggest problem. It covers pretty much 99% of the problems or 100% in my opinion. Either way. Lets list what these are.

Trading
I love the trading system, although along with someone below me it might be a little overpowered. I just built like a cajillion Lumber Mills and then sold my lumber for lots of gold to buy like 18 Battalions of Knights/ Sun Clerics.
The other problem is of course the fact that it takes so long to trade. I honestly had such a surplus of Lumber to sell for Gold that I just taped down my mouse and left. (Totally upsetting!)

Troops:
Buying troops yet again was another problem.
(Once again the tapey mouse maneuver!!!)
Also I feel that there should be a sell troops option, maybe for a greatly reduced amount. (Not like you can't be like hey mister troop GTFO) Sorry but I'm OCD and I'm sure others are too, I like multiples of 5.
Lastly though is the information on troops don't offer the best well INFO. You said that some of the fun was figuring out which units worked together. Only problem is you didn't exactly tell which ones worked best together. Besides "Hey he is bad" "Hey he hates baddies". More information like "Provides cover for your melee units with their smoke bombs" - granting a higher defense to all melee units. Or "Hates anyone of the magical nature, nothing good ever came from their twisted powers" for the Sun Cleric, maybe making an event where sometimes they fight against each other killing some off when they are put in a quest together.

Battles:
Just not enough information. I found myself losing all my troop many a time because I thought I had enough units and the right items heroes and such to take the adventure. Additionally you could of probably provided the option to do multiple adventures at once, I mean why allow someone the option to choose how many of your troops to send if they can't be used somewhere else. I mean the more the better chances of survival.

That is all I can think of now but I think its a good start. Try getting all that in and this would be a great game. INfact if you can't or are not willing to go back and edit these features into this game then I would be very happy to see another game much like this one or the same with a different story.

GREAT GAME !!!!!
