Reviews for "Kingdom in the Clouds"

awful gameplay

The game looks nice, sounds, nice, and seems at the outset to be promising, but this was clearly not designed by someone with a good concept of what fun is. Robjohnson's review is totally accurate; they're the same criticisms I'd make. The author's responses are totally missing the point, which is that those gameplay problems prevent the game from being fun. At all. The upgrade system is unsatisfying and next to useless and the gameplay is static, repetitive, and eventually practically unbeatable. And even though the game gets hard, it never gets CHALLENGING, because there's practically no skill or strategy involved. The game looks great, but next time you need to think a lot harder about how the game will actually PLAY.

not even litte children find this game hard.

the only thing you do is push a buttom and well that was it,you dont even need upgrades you yust throw clouds against your enemys and wait when the game finally starts to get hard.still the audio was nice and i think if you would make a more challenging game i would definetly play it but this no no no

Veeeeeery slow

Subj. This game need optimization.

U need to work more on gameplay.

Even after fully maxing the cloud shot, the interval was still slow as if I never upgraded it. The owl drops were too useless since if the baby needs a heal its because u're pretty much surrounded, same with the prince heal. I rather have some aerial attack from the owl than a random heal or a gem, I was so overwhelmed by enemies in the last lvls that I had to pray for the zap attack to be ready while running with the baby in hands . I barely made it in the last level, "finally a real use for the jump ability" I thought since I saw the winged guard, but it was just another lvl. As everybody before me said, it was repetitive and if I completed it was because it would be unfair to review it without finishing it.
The art and animations were pretty good, I got a bit laggy from the clouds lvl but it was still playable.

Mute option for the voice?

Seriously. Do you think me pointing this out is petty? Am I "trolling"? A main gameplay element, IE attacking, is obnoxious to listen to because you thought it would be a great idea to make him say something every single time he attacks. Not to mention he only has 3 lines that he repeats. Did you play your own game? How did you not find this annoying?
