Reviews for "Kingdom in the Clouds"

Repetitive

great music. who can complain 'music is too grand'. Haters. Still it is repetitive and boring levels over and over. it was fun for the first minute. Voice audio is also a nice surprise. keep it up.

Beautiful,

but boring. It's very easy and repetitive.

lol

Its not even working, keeps bugging, lame.

Repetitive. Moreso than usual...

While the graphic quality is nicely done, the music seems a bit too grand for the content. It's almost like having Bach compose an entire symphony for an Arby's commercial. The gameplay shows promise in the first couple levels, but I quickly discovered that all I needed was the basic cloud attack through the entire game. The upgrade system is almost impractical, if only there for some temporary amusement with the other skills.

The other feature that confused me was the ability to jump. Nowhere did I need this ability, other than perhaps ONE time, in which there was also another way to get around the obstacle without jumping, as well. You also can't jump with your sister in hand, so even if you were to jump over an enemy, you endanger the kid. While on topic...you should NEVER even have to move the child, for the center of the field where you begin is the ideal place to start and finish the level. Just fire clouds and you're done.

Enemy versatility (in more ways than cosmetic,) practical upgrades, and definitely some difficulty and gameplay increase is necessary. However, again, the animation was smooth, and that was nice enough.

i got bored after ten minutes

no offence intended, but you've got two baddies and they take the same amount of hits to kill, just two hits, and then a little later the big guy who takes, what, four or five? so there's no decision making. it's just left, fire, wait, fire, right, fire, wait, fire, left, fire, right, fire, wait, fire, wait, fire, wait, fire.

I'm sure if I waited around another ten levels there would be a point to this or some variation, but this slow start kills the need to continue, and the animation looks lovely, but it's slowing ther gameplay down criminally.

Thanks for your time, but this doesn't make me want to continue playing- but then neither does plants vs zombies, so who knows?
