very nice!
very fun, good time waster and addicting... i felt it was easier than others that reviewed...
however, i got bored of the same two weapon for a while... you needed to add the third a bit earlier...
i liked the survival level near the beginning.. good incentive to go back, but i needed new weapons...
Lots of atari refrences
Did anyone else catch the chopper attack reference? I could feel some Atlantis in there too.
Retro feel
I liked it, kindda had a retro feel to it.. Definitely deserve better then a 1 like that robococdo .....whatever his name is did a few post away ... dumb kid...

Very nice game, fun concept. At first it's challenging, later its nearly impossible! Nice retro feeling, good replay value, versatile enemies and gigantic bosses.
There are a lot of bugs, I hope the author will fix them. For example, in the survival level you can't destroy the shields of some enemies. In the mission called "Moscow" the blue wave-attack doesn't hurt the bigger ships, just the small ships enabling the enemy to level your city in a few waves. or it was ment to be that way? Either way, it's *very hard* to pass some levels and *impossible* to get a gold medal no matter how good you play.
I gave it a 9/10 just because of the bugs/intentionl extreme difficulty.
Note: if the bugs are fixed by the time you read this, desregard the 2. paragraph and cogratulate the author.

First of all thanks for not downvoting the game to 1 because of difficulty and bugs! :)
I fixed the shield regeneration bug for survival mode and uploaded it, but I did not get any note if it was approved or not :(. I will look into that again today!
The "blue wave" is a defense weapon for destroying bombs and other bullets fast. Switch back to normal weapons to destroy enemies.
Gold medals are hard, I know, but to get more of those medals you can always go back to the earlier levels with your new weapons and get them easier.
The game is quite difficult, I agree but it was actually intended. I will definitely keep that in mind for my next game :).
