Reviews for "Moon Diary"

Please don't ever become a one-hit wonder. ;-)

This is probably my favorite flash animation to date. Very chock-full of symbolism and meaning. How very creative, the ghost & the shadow, the bird and the wolves - all of it. You've both got such talent, whether collaborating or solo I'm sure you'll go far. :-)

Absolutely Brilliant!

The story, plot, art...everything really, was incredible! My sister especially liked the short-film :) At first, you don't really get what is going on, but as the story goes on, you learn about the moon character and you grow a love for him...and at the end, everything comes together to create something sad, but in a way...truly magical...

my favourite <3

the story was sad in the end...i think it was worth seeing
and this may sound cheesy but in the end of the flash i looked outside to see the moon (sadly it wasnt there :( )

Better luck next time. :)

After working on this animation for 2 years, I can't unsee it.

The most amazingest thing I have EVER watched!

At the start I didn't know that the movie was 30 minutes long, but I watched through it all. At the start I didn't understand anything, the stick figure and a walking moon but by the end everything fell together and it was amazing! I can't usually watch very long videos on NG because they usually lack in interest for me, but this video was different, once I started watching I couldn't stop! I'm not sure what it meant by the birds in the moon... I thought when I saw him turning all red and falling apart that maybe he was going super nova, but yea I'm not to sure. And I love how that poor ghost fuses with his shadow and goes with the moon, which makes it how it is always changing how "big" the moon is. Overall one of THE BEST movies I have ever watched.

KibitzCo responds:

Wow! Thank you!

That was beutiful.

I loved the black & white art style. The animation was pretty smooth too, except for the small parts with the invisible man, but I know how hard it is to animate - especially with that character. I also really enjoyed the story - it was really interesting & the ending tied in well. Good job! c:
