Easy going animation for a relaxing half hour
I actually quite enjoyed the animation as it flowed in all aspects, from music to narration to animation. The artsy cartoon style and pastel colors appeal to me, as well as the qualities of the animals, clouds and people.
I don't exactly understand the story per se, as events don't seem to always have an (obvious) consequence, for example the moon stepping on the boy. The diary tone of the story is also questionable when the moon "never forgives himself" since it suggests the entry is written long after the fact. Small things-to nitpick-about aside, this animation was a fluid, passively engaging tale (is that even possible?). It was great.
