Reviews for "Battle for Wayland Keep"

Awesome, but...

...the lag on week 8 was horrible. I had problems up till then but nothing that ruined my experience of playing the game. Week 8 was hardly even playable. Wish it was though as I did enjoy the game up until then.

I hope that the Ostus will don't be boring like this.

while waiting for the game to load i decided to read the reviews. for some reason it feels as though the immediate few below mine sound as if they were coming from a pr firm. like the sullen cash register working writing mock reviews for his mcdonalds if you catch my drift.

Jazza responds:

cool... but i wouldn't mind knowing what you think of the game :)

mmmm

i dont like the story.. its like a the story of a lot of games in the same game.. but all the other things are pretty cool

Firstly, the dialog was sooo good. I love you. The graphics (both kinds) were truly stunning and the music was involving and fulfilling. Also, the voice acting made me jizz a little. Then alot.

There were only a few problems I had. First and foremost saves should load from directly before the rest, ESPECIALLY if there's no save and continue button... Very problematic. Second, it might be nice to be able to waypoint my attacks, although that might lead to me planning all my attacks, watching hero (Argus? I forget...) pwn and then slashing around until my attacks refill. Still, that might not be so bad since your refill time is pleasant.

The real reason this has such a mediocre grade is the choppiness of the gameplay. I know you gave a spec warning but I have a decent comp. and it still bothered me to no end. If a game's perfect but no one can play it because it will only work on God's alienware desktop then it deserves a zero. Nonetheless, I can't wait for Ortus.
