Reviews for "Hunters - Stage 2"

Getting better!

I liked this one more than the last one. I was absolutely not expecting that change in gameplay at the start of this stage - that was a pleasant surprise.

*insert graphics stuff here. F*** your life, kill your children, and all that jazz I'm apparently supposed to say because you have bad art. I missed the memo.*

Once again, you seem to have trouble balancing difficulty. As awesome as the first part of the stage may be, I found it to be one of the more difficult parts of the stage - so much that when I was playing it, I wondered for a bit if stage 6 was going to be pretty near impossible. The good part is that this stage is a little more balanced in difficulty overall, and is just how I like it: you will probably die the first time attempting any part, but it's never too hard as to be discouraging - it just takes a little memorization or experience. And the fact that this is practically twice as long helps.

My requisite Weird Thing I Noticed That Probably Should Be Fixed with this stage was in the scene before the robot walker boss. When it revealed itself, Carina was
staring off into space, unconcerned with impending doom.

Bottom line: anyone reviewing with a score of 0 simply didn't play the game past the first 30 seconds.

This one's favorited. Keep them coming!

awsome but...

the series needs more stages

Wow. <myep thats about it.>

The only problem i had was shooting diagonally, but with some adjustment i found myself doing quite well with the controls. I haven't tried hard mode just yet. Every boss i came across took a little getting use to. Just study the patterns if you are having any trouble. The gingerbread dude at the end was a pain in the ass. I recommend the machine gun and stand dead in the middle of his face shooting into his mouth. Anyhow, i will try this on hard now. I am impressed though, keep this shit up yo. whoop whoop

An improvement from the last, but

Long levels are nice, but they usually have a catch, and its repetitiveness. The sections were mixed up with their own little hazards and baddies this time around and it changed things up enough to keep me playing. However i felt they didnt come as often as they were needed to sustain my complete attention. You should go back and play an NES Megaman game or two to help brainstorm interesting level design. Basically, rather than have a certain obstacle/enemy for an entire area, make an obstacle/enemy that gets used for a few screens then switch off to a new one, and so on, until you have enough to start mixing and matching later in the stages to keep it challenging and interesting.

Also, by the way the kids keep complaining about no easy mouse aim, it would seem theyve never played any NES or Sega games before in their life. Its a shame they lost out and lack the skill to play with retro controls like Contra's, but a mouse shouldnt be added to compensate for them. They still work perfectly fine

Not bad but still...

there are some problems u must correct in the next ones
1.clumsy controls
2.too many bosses
3.way too hard first stages
other than that it is a very good game and series
