this is not good...
simplicity is nice, but overdo it, and all you get is near emptiness. What I could think off would work better in your interactive movie, is that the man not even be a man in the first place, so nobody could expect anything. The gun should be on the ground, not floating midair. You don't even need the wife, all you needed was gunshot sound, and when falling, you should've just let it fall indefinitely and suddenly switch to the ending, creating a more dramatic effect.
I usually like these things, but this is just too simple...

I for one think that you have gotten the point of this game out Very well
if the point of it is to have everyone going "Why this?" then good job :D

Boring
I'm sorry, but I don't see the point. There was no need for "D". The only reason you needed "W" was because you could barely walk uphill. If you want to create a movie, then do it, but don't pass this off as gameplay. It's not.
As to the plot, a guy has amnesia, remembers he shot a girl (his wife?) and commits suicide. It reminded me of an angsty middle school poem. Give us more next time. Why did he kill her? What has led up to this moment? Why should we care?
In other words, "why this?"
