Reviews for "Mutate the Labrat 2"

ehh

This game is really quite difficult. There is no good way to make money as the miners end up dying just about every 3rd cycle, and will hardly even redeem their market value before they do so. The miner death rate should definitely NOT be higher than the success rate of the mineral with how much they cost. The lack of reliable income causes the player to focus mainly on getting by economically and keeping their labrat alive, rather than being able to enjoy any of the other features of the game.
The game idea is great though, really. It just needs some monetary balancing.

point taken. i fixed the miner problem by making them 2x less likely to die

I think....

this might be actually fun if only i knew what to do.Add a Tutorial or some kind of Missions to this and reupload plz. I had no idea where to start. thanks

Disappointing

What in the name of this delicious Eddsworld Cereal%u2122 is going on here?! This is nothing like the first gadget. In fact, this one isn't even a gadget at all. I could go on forever about what I liked about the first one, and how much the second one sucked compared to the first, but I will only say a few things.

First off, it's still a good game. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's a huge step down from the original game.

One of the best things about the original were that it was simple, and fun to mess around with, and it was a gadget. You have turned it into an actual game with money, profits, buying, hiring, people, and... animal abuse?(aka the fighting part. Sorry I couldn't resist.) Now there is nothing wrong with this. But most of us preferred it when it was a gadget, instead of a challenging game.

My biggest complaint is the visuals. Hold your horses, there's a few of them.

The game does not live up to it's title, which was a let down for me. How can you mutate a lab rat if none of the creatures even closely resemble a rat? Furthermore, how can you mutate anything when it's not even mutating? One of the best feature of the original gadget was that you could watch it mutate, but in this game, it doesn't even happen. Sure, it may happen statisticly, but what's the point if there's nothing to see?

Another visual complaint is that when the "lab rats" are fighting, one, how come they look exactly the same, and two, when they're supposedly fighting, they look like that just grab each other. If two mutated vicious creatures are fighting, there will be lots of violence and blood. None what so ever.

My final complaint is that the screen size is too small, and makes it hard to see the lab rat.

Another note: When you're out and about with your monster, killing other monsters, when your monsters dies, you can still go into battle, but then it says your monster is dead. It could be helpful if you could prevent this, or teleport the person and lab rat back to your base instantly.

complicated

i got used to it sorta, but i just didn't like it, i loved the fighting and stuff, and the "leveling" up but i just didn't like how there already monsters to start, i wanted them to become rats first, then mutate it that way you want it, like it could turn into anything, not just have it mutate into higher lvls and becoming the same thing but with just spikes and more attack and stuff, it's more like mutate the monster, or mutate the thing to me :-/

The game looks great, however I don't know if its this computer or just a recent bug
However I can't seem to access either the world or the cryo button
So I get to just sit here and watch my rat die without being able to do anything about it but speed it up or slow it down
