I would have really enjoyed it but like most reviewers I got frustrated with the controls. Wall jumping is a pain in the ass and gives you no indication. I just couldn't get into it because of the controls. It had so much potential to be better :/

Games of this level of difficulty only work with savestates, or a huge amount of time. In flash games, if it takes much longer than an hour, we better be getting constant enjoyment.
Pretty good and challenging game. A couple of notes though, having the music restart whenever you die is really annoying since you spend a lot of time dying and listening to the first couple of notes before a bouncy ball crushes your skull in, then listening to those same notes again makes you want to play the game without any music at all... And that's not the way games should be played. Also what's with all the tutorial popups? once the wall-jump is explained I don't think it's necessary to repeat it

But yeah im gonna have to agree with some reviews before me and say the controls fucking ruin this game. Its just a pain in the ass when the little guy goes running off on his own and slides like a penguin to his death. I didnt know the warp gate shit reset when you died so I ended up warping allllll the way back to the start of the game.... gave it another go only to die from the lackluster controls. It was fun but the controls just ruined it. Even with the quality on low (just in case) my character ran face first into a wall of spikes after repeatedly... constantly... without fail... wall jumping when I wasnt even looking at or thinking about pushing the space bar. When it worked it is fun... but those where few and far between moments. The rest of the time I wanted stab someone.

i dont know if there is a relationship between this game's maker and the one i will tell u in a sec but this game is really similar to a game called knytt. not everyone knows this game but its amazing. similarities between this and knytt are: walking noises, music, tilesets, background, character, even the enemies. if you would like to see it for yourself please search "knytt stories" on google. thank you for not finding this offensive. i have no bad intentions and im not trying to promote anything.
